Hope everyone had a safe and happy new years eve and that 2008 will be a wonderful year for all!!
It snowed all afternoon yesterday, into the evening, and then again all day today. Mary and I spent most of the night shoveling snow. Between the 2 of us we have shoveled 5 times and all will be happy to hear that I never fell while I was shoveling. We realize at our ages it is easier to shovel 5 inches an inch at a time. Of course once we have shoveled, the city snow plows come by and pile all of the snow up at the end of the driveway, so we have a fortress at the end of the drive. I just go over it several time with my car and it packs it down.
John is up visiting, we didn't want him to feel left out so we let him shovel the last time.

It looks so pretty! I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt today, but it did rain pretty hard (for, like, 3 minutes).
Having a blog is a big responsibility! Its 72 and sunny out here, you should come visit! I'm very happyto hear that you two had no mishaps while shoveling and your chaperone has arrived.
